News and Announcements
Some of you may have never heard, but there’s a recruiting website available dedicated towards divers called Divers To College (https://www.DiversToCollege.com). This was started by world renowned Olympic Coach Dr. Ron O’Brien. At the heart of it is a questionnaire that determines a diver’s learning “bent” and it helps the diver match up to a coach’s “teaching” style. It’s a free service for high school aged kids whether they are in a club or not. The site offers opportunities for divers to share about themselves with coaches from around the country.
You can read more about the service here: https://www.diverstocollege.com/aboutus.php

If you are able, please plan to attend the event. More information can be found on the Ripfest calendar here: http://www.ripfest.net/events/5668610

The 2019 Winter/Spring/Summer schedules (now through Labor Day) are available in your respective team calendars. If you would like a hard-copy you can find it online in the document area (http://noblesville.ripfest.net/clubs/6374/documents/201876) ..warning..all this is subject to change and we’ll do our best to notify you as soon as we can, so try to rely on the online calendar and/or the final say of your team coach.
Some things to note:
- If your account is setup to receive email notifications, you should receive automatic reminders of special events (e.g. holidays, USA Diving events, Schedule change, etc). You will not receive notices of regular practices unless there’s a change that I’ve been made aware of.
- Make note of the Spring/Summer transition in May as practice times and locations will likely change for your team. Also make note of USA Diving Regionals/Zones/Nationals. Links and location information have been made available concurrent with the USA diving schedule.
- You can also sync this online calendar with your personal calendar.
Thanks to Coach Deb for putting this together, I can say from experience the last 6 years in the sport that it’s unusual in the diving community to get this much notice!
If you have any questions either post them on the message board or contact me or Coach Deb.
Hope you have a great year!
