Prohibited Items at Camp

RipFest aims to offer a wonderful experience for campers. In a group living environment, such as camp, cooperation is essential, and campers are most comfortable when they know what is expected of them. Campers and parents are to abide by the rules set forth by RipFest. RipFest asks that you and your child follow some important rules:

1. RipFest is tobacco, alcohol, drug, vaping, and juul free facility.

2. RipFest does not allow for weapons on the premise.

3. Bullying, stealing, sneaking out, and breaking the law while on Ripfest property or while at camp is prohibited and is subject to immediate expulsion from facilities and RipFest programs

RipFest and RipFest staff reserve the right to search any camper/staff person's personal property on camp during campers' stay at camp. If any of the items listed above is found, the Director(s) have the right to seize any and all items; with the exception of illegal items, any items seized by the Director(s) will be returned to the camper/staff person at the conclusion of camp. The Director(s) will meet with the camper/staff in question and appropriate consequences will be implemented. The Director(s) reserve the right to dismiss the camper/staff person from camper. If a camper is dismissed, then the dismissed camper will be separated from the camp population until a parent/guardian can arrange to pick-up the camper. Any dismissed staff member will be asked to leave camp immediately. In the event of discovery of any illegal substance or weapon, our onsite police will be contacted, and the illegal items will be given to the appropriate authorities.

Dismissal from camp will result in a future ban to attend RipFest camps.
